About me ...

Hey, everyone. I am Tom Iovino, a public information officer here on Florida's west coast. As part of my job, I have to take photos to send to journalists, and the idea of improving the photos I took really intrigued me.

It's not as if I have a ton of extra time to practice this craft. I am currently studying for my master's degree in digital journalism from the University of South Florida, I am the proud father of two grown sons, I enjoy learning about the history of space flight - and taking in a few launches at the Kennedy Space Center, and I like to travel. However, to get better at photography, I am willing to put in the time and effort to learn everything possible to get the best shots.

I have decorated my living room with some of the shots I have taken and am most proud of. Not only are they great conversation starters when guests come by to visit, but they also carry me back to the moment when I took them.

No matter how much I learn about this fascinating hobby, there is always more room to grow. So, please join me as we discover the magic of photography together.
